Noteworthy

Harry’s Bar, Venice, is credited with the invention of two good things. Prosecco and white peach puree were first shaken into a bellini at Harry’s. Harry’s was also allegedly the first bar to serve beef carpaccio, so named for the Venetian artist. Rest assured, dear friends, I drank many bellinis during my Venetian sojourn and ate my share of carpaccio.
This excellent carpaccio was served with parmesan, rocket and olives. I was weathering the consequences of having been served many excellent bellinis.
