so much to say, so little bandwidth

Well, I've found myself in a beautiful sleepy little riverside town, with news and shiny photographs to post. It seems, however, that even though I can bring a digital camera, laptop and usb drive to the show, major conniptions in the force are generated anytime I try to process a file bigger than my little finger. Oh well. From Kampot I will head to the even smaller and sleepier coastal town of Kep, and from thence to Bamboo Island, which only has three hours of electricity a day. Expect a deluge of riveting commentary, replete with stunning illustrations. In about a week.

Oh, and yes, faceless slanderers, gather your quills, anonymous comments have been turned on.

oh you're in KEP! my favourite place. i never found internet (never looked either), but in case you do... you MUST :
1. go to the crab market! sure you've found it already, but just in case!! order crab with kampot pepper... ooohhhh so jealous. mouth watering...
2. do the mountain trail walk (entry behind the verandah guest house) at sunrise.
3. observe condom advertisement bilboard at bottom of road leading up to verandah, vanna and vue de monde. beautiful.

oiga! thanks for the recommendation. kep just so faaabulously chilled, it was hard to haul myself out of the verandah, lemme tell you. so hard that i, ahem, didn't make the sunrise walk. you'll be reading my full delectation of the crab markets soon, chica. they changed my life. the condom ads partout are doing my head in, particularly which show the hands of two women apparently in ceremonial dress clasping what appears to be a ceremonial rod. very odd. almost as odd as the golden muscle liqueur ads, which i think i must post here. xx
