Sorry
All the snippy things that I might find myself saying about being back in Australia, back in Sydney, need to be shelved today because of this, the long overdue acknowledgment of the wounds inflicted on indigenous communities by Federal governments of this country. May this hopeful gesture mark a turning point in Australian history.

Hear hear. A very small step really when you think about it, but at least it's something in the right direction. Though I've had an interesting time trying to explain significance of said event to those on other continents...can't find more than an AFP press release en français for the moment!
