I've made it to Ataturk Airport. My flight to Dubai has been delayed for half an hour. I have no concerns about missing the connecting flight to Kenya as I'm looking forward to ten hours in transit in Dubai. The pleasant people at the Emirates check-in desk pointedly presented me with information about the airport hotel at Dubai. There's a kilo of Turkish delight from Haci Bekir in my hand luggage and an airport priced cup of coffee next to me.Total transit time: 2:00*
