bluuuuue moon
Strange things happen once in a blue moon. Tonight the second full moon of May will hang from the sky and so mark the beginning of a new lunar cycle. My sight of the first full moon of this auspicious month was obscured by a heavy wad of cloud over Mandalay so i'm humming and hoping to see this one over Pai....

thank you, anonymous! vindicated! all that clean living was going to my head and i allowed myself to be swayed by canadian hippies. On the last day of May, I remarked, gee, a blue moon in june, how exciting. Nooo no nono, said the hippies, it's a May blue moon tonight. Tonight, said I? Tonight? And I let them convince me. Curse them. And hooray then, for the delightfully assonant and imminent blue moon of june!
